Miley Cyrus now wants to be taken off the song ‘I Am Veronica’ for which she volunteered backing vocals almost two years ago. This comes at a time when Morrissey has disassociated himself with Capitol Records (Los Angeles), who control the hidden album ‘Bonfire of Teenagers’.

You are right about his having a career most would kill for - the vast majority of people in any creative endeaviour struggle to find any income or any fame. And Moz has found both of those.
I do think though the current struggles to get BOT released feel different to previous ´searching for a label´ times in his career, by both nature and degree. How likely is it any new album will see the light of day? There is a terminal feel to these current record label travails. And is there perhaps a terminal feel to the title of the yet to be recorded album?

Just the amount of energy some here expel in judging Morrissey's behaviour is something I cannot be bothered with. I've heard the rumours, seen the headlines and smelled the fumes of Morrissey's so called demise for his entire solo career and we're still here.

So no I don't think this feels different at all. If he never releases another album I do not care. He has plenty of songs already and therein lies the fact that we do too. The fact that he has released so many while remaining true to himself is a testament to his character whether one likes him or not.

Every trial, tribulation and fault of character is right there in his huge catalogue of songs. If this recent episode has you looking for the lifeboat, you haven't been listening close enough.

I get this. I don't expect anything other than erratic behaviour from Moz. But I really enjoy his new releases and the build up. Long may they last! And the drama

Miley Cyrus is the very thing Morrissey condemns in pop music now, he obviously used her to tap into her audience and she obviously used him to further her quest to get some kind of cred via 80s musicians in both working with them and covering their songs. That's business, it's fine. However, I do find her behavior disgusting and it just proves she can't rely on her very limited talent. It also doesn't hurt that Dolly Parton is her godmother, I wish she would give Miley some advice about self respect.
