Does Madonna release "live" albums? If she did, I am sure she would want to showcase her latest look--pertaining to the performance. Again, I don't follow her.
I'm not sure if the dates match, but the photoshopped picture makes her look like a completely different person. I think that's far worse.

It's fitting that this was (coincidentally) released in the wake of 3/4 of Th' Lads reuniting recently. No matter what your opinions are of all the iterations of the Morrissey line-up in the 32 years since, there was something magical about the Whyte/Boorer/Day/Cobrin line-up. Beethoven is a lovely audio postcard from old friends saying hello from another place and time. This performance of "Jack The Ripper" is equal to just about about any of M's solo studio highlights. It still sends shivers all these years later.

Madonna releases live concert albums and uses photos from the actual concert as the artwork and throughout the packaging, or at least something that relates to it.

I am trying to find an original "Beethoven" on LP to purchase - but I have picked up the new re-issue in the meantime. I realise the photo is all wrong for the time period and I am not a fan of the cover art, but I admit I did not mind staring at the Inner Sleeves 😍

The pressing itself had no defects but cut a little lower in volume than I would have liked, so lacked some of the usual dynamics I am used to with Morrissey on Vinyl - a shame they did not cut it over two discs.

But a good pressing and mine played flawlessly.
