Music's Norma Desmond, typing Morrissey into YouTube and uploading the things that stroke his ego.

If he does indeed post that shite over on Central, then he is reasonably internet-savvy and knows exactly why people no longer like him, won’t sign him etc.
One unambiguous statement on his own website addressing these issues would go a long way to solving his problems - even if he didn’t mean a word of it. But he doesn’t. You have to wonder why.

What good would defending himself do? Those who believe he is not racist or wrong will continue to listen and love. Those who are ignorant or too closed minded won’t care, and the same vapid half famous people who so proudly separate art from artists…well who really cares? He doesn’t need to sell out, be apologetic, or regurgitate the opinions of others. If the album doesn’t come out as we wish, so be it. Between Morrissey kissing asses or the album never coming out, it’s best he stay true to himself.

This is my favourite video too - I do not know the movie but the little boy made my heart ache - he has such expression and I felt his sorrow. It matched Morrissey's lyrics perfectly and also what I have read about Morrissey's school life in his biography. Teachers were a different & mean breed back then, now it is the other way around with teachers being scared to teach as students seem to have the upper hand. But the video was great and I love this song a lot.
