A few peeps at the Joni Mitchelle gig the other night said they heard about a gig at some fecking venue They said M was aiming to put the Greek situation right. I just fecking thought they meant he would play The Wiltern or shit.
What I want to know is how come his LP hasn't leaked yet, a few record company peeps and fans have it
To be honest, mate LOTS of us have said various things M should do to get his career back on track. We have been saying it for years. That is the thing that sucks balls. It's so fecking easy for him to get back on track.
I think he actually wants to be seen as cancelled, if he is seen as fecking canceled, he can blame his lack of audience on that, rather than the fact people are just not interested anymore not like back in the day. His last big hurrah in Los Angeles was at Staples in 2013- it was a real event. Brand and QT were there. It was downhill big time from there. That was the last time, he could even think of saying Moz Angeles really. , That kind of audience was all over for him by 2014 Los Angeles and other cities in the USA. then thought of M, in much the same fecking way he is thought of in London since 2008
I actually, think it's nothing to be ashamed of, he is in his 60s, he still has talent, he can still put on a good show. All he has to do is release his lps, keep his shit together , do a few interviews off load brain dead Jesse and the other dude and who knows Johnny may even do some gigs, in London, Manchester, Dublin, NY, LA Mexico. I wish he would have done the gigs with Johnny in 2008, I think things would be very different for him now.
Instead, Johnny thought feck this and became a respected solo artist and M became a disrespected piss artist. As he didn't do the gigs in 2008, I wish he wouldn't have asked about doing The Smiths shit in 2024, not the way things are. It really just seems desperate, an admission of defeat
I feel for the guy, I hope to Christ he gets it together but time is running out man. Really is running out.

If he does indeed post that shite over on Central, then he is reasonably internet-savvy and knows exactly why people no longer like him, won’t sign him etc.
One unambiguous statement on his own website addressing these issues would go a long way to solving his problems - even if he didn’t mean a word of it. But he doesn’t. You have to wonder why.

Im not sure he goes and logs in and copy and pasts stuff but he certainly does give SER stuff to post. I mean it's a mixture of SER posting what M related stuff is out there and then stuff M tells him to post

I wouldn't want M to be like Michael Stip posting videos as if he is in Blair Witch but I wish he would, at least get a better fecking website. I mean M isn't stupid we all know he plays up to being hold fashioned but he has a computer he has a smart phone , he knows how to use stuff,

Tough to argue with much of this. I don’t live in LA, but happened to see one of the 2017 Hollywood Bowl shows, which were great. Curious why the thought is that “Moz Angeles” ended at a, more or less, specific time. Did it just fade out?
