A lot of those tickets will be on resale sites, they aren't people who are actually going, happens with him all the time
haven't they sorted the tout business now?, I have seen lots of concerts where the tickets cannot be sold on for more money, look at Oasis where tickets have been canceled because of bots

Morrissey refuses to do that. There was a notice on ticketmaster for his last round of shows that said no resale or something like that and he put up a post on Central saying he had nothing to do with ticketing and that wasn't true or something like that. There's a thread about it here. I did see that a lot of Oasis tickets were canceled and also when Robert Smith openly fueded with ticketmaster over prices and fees.

Good that the 6,000 sold out. A cunning ruse this pre-sale thing.
My estimate was/is that there are probably about 10,000 prepared to see him there as a one-off show, but this might be inflated by 5,000 online armchair touts. We'll know that's the case if there are tons of very cheap tickets floating about in the weeks beforehand. Am excited for the women in the band as guessing they haven't played to such a huge crowd before? (assuming it's at least half full).
Camila has played much bigger shows.

Like this one with Adam Lambert

For some reason he always announces shows as 'sold out', even when you can look them up on Ticketmaster and find dozens of tickets still for sale. I wonder if his people even tell him when the venues have been forced to curtain off rows of empty seats, or if they just tell him the crowd is larger than it actually is?

im guessing that after forty years of playing in front of crowds and taming the many headed hydra that is an audience hes probably able to judge a crowd size fairly well

"Where did you get the photo from? He’s used looks so good!"
The picture has done the round before, its just him hanging in Hollywood and shirt
He does look good there, he looked up to about 47.
I like the picture too

"He does this all the time, I can’t get my head around why he lies about sales as it may put others off even trying to get tickets"

Its advertising isn't it? He would rather loose a few sales and get the credibility

Yes it shows , he was right to know sell his tock low and keep the lps, he knows in time they will come to him and he will be ready with many fecking songs
I think that's why he made a 'no comment' response when asked about the US election. Of course he's no fan of Trump - but he's also not stupid, he knows that Trump winning was a sign of the silent majority expressing its judgment on woke and cancel culture. People don't want to live in a society where you can't say things just because others don't like what you're saying. Bonfire will see the light of day at some point. And it will be big when it finally does. It's bull's eye on target on the zeitgeist.

The one on the lower left I reckon everyone on here should be able to spot. The upper two I'm annoyed to say I don't recognise at all, but I'm gonna go ahead and say Sisters of Mercy and The Cure!
