Remember a long time ago when his singles charted fairly high with the fan rush, then just disappeared within two weeks. He doesn't have that audience who quite like him, the fence sitters who might decide to buy a ticket. Paul Heaton, James and such like do. He is the definition of some love, but a lot of hate.

Good that the 6,000 sold out. A cunning ruse this pre-sale thing.
My estimate was/is that there are probably about 10,000 prepared to see him there as a one-off show, but this might be inflated by 5,000 online armchair touts. We'll know that's the case if there are tons of very cheap tickets floating about in the weeks beforehand. Am excited for the women in the band as guessing they haven't played to such a huge crowd before? (assuming it's at least half full).
