Yes. Nobody buys an artist's back catalogue without permission to issue re-releases.The rep I deal with implied they can reissue/stock existing products without permission and in perpetuity.
Someone had to didnt they !Slip them into different sleeves. Buy both and feel deceived.
The Box looks great, never seen one beforeAnyone interested in these, should track down the Japanese mini LP cd’s instead. Properly cropped covers and the attention to detail is insane. Rank has the mini poster…
I believe they came out when I happened to be in Tokyo in 2009. I was able to buy them all at once (including the Jobriath titles) at a Tower. There went all my money

These albums must still sell by the bucket load judging by the number of re-issues the record companies have put out over the years. It could have kept the original Rough Trade Records & Distribution from going bankrupt if they'd hung on to the Smiths catalogue.Pretty cool. God just look at that album art and think of what's on each one. What a majestic, miraculous run they had.
I've re-arranged some CDs so that all the cardboard sleeves are grouped together, and it's much more pleasing on the eye. I do prefer a standard plastic case, but these still look pretty good.Soft packs? As in.. cardboard? I never like getting a new CD and it comes in one of these. So flimsy. Plus they don't look good on a display shelf from the side... Too thin. Whyyyy?!
Same . I hate soft packs , cardboards , digipacks etc etcSoft packs? As in.. cardboard? I never like getting a new CD and it comes in one of these. So flimsy. Plus they don't look good on a display shelf from the side... Too thin. Whyyyy?!
I would do that, but I really like to keep the artists CDs together, in chronological order!I've re-arranged some CDs so that all the cardboard sleeves are grouped together, and it's much more pleasing on the eye. I do prefer a standard plastic case, but these still look pretty good.
I do, too. But these cardboard sleeves were just making things look untidy, so an executive decision was made.I would do that, but I really like to keep the artists CDs together, in chronological order!
