So many repetitive lyrics.
Fillers due to lack of creativity.
In it for the money now.
What a dead and lifeless act.
Skinny, you forgot to log in again. Or is this deliberate, so you can criticise without having to admit that you actually listened to all the new songs?

That said, there are a lot of repetitive lyrics.

I'd have been quite disappointed with that for a setlist tbh. Starts off great (Our Frank wow) then the mid-set lull of this is a new song. This is another new song. This is yawn, yawn, yawn and That's How People Grow Up (!?!?) ending with 4 songs that have been played more times than I've had COVID.
It's Morrissey's set list though not mine.
But that’s how a Morrissey setlist usually looks whenever he is promoting a new album. He starts with a few forgotten gems to wind up the audienc, then digs into songs from the new album and it can be challenging, then ends with his classic hits. Surprised he included 5 songs from an album nobody had a chance to hear yet. He’s taking its promotion quite seriously.

He should? And what do the other few thousand people there do while 100 people at the front are wetting their knickers to End of the Family Line?
Maybe get a new favorite song?

I burst into tears at the end of I Live In Oblivion and Bonfire Of The Teenagers.
There is so much cathartic anger and sarcasm in those lyrics.
Everything personal is in Oblivion; everything political in Bonfire. Both have far surpassed my expectations. Just wish he’d revisited the “Oblivion” line after “there’s a good boy…”, other than that it’s perfect.

It's good for us sat at home but I feel bad for the audience that he played so many songs that they couldn't have possibly known.

Only really heard three of the new songs but it sounds like the recent trend continues - surprisingly great music with mainly OK but occasionally awful lyrics. New songs aside, I like the setlist a lot. Great to hear a Kill Uncle era song. Only complaint is That's How People Grow Up which is dismal.
Love the jangle of Rebels Without. It's an absolute joy to hear clear, melodic guitar lines underpinning his singing.

Well, it’s not a great look, is it? You start into a song and hundreds of people in your audience get up and walk out.
You do know this is just you assuming, right? This hasn’t happened. It’s hardly certain it would. Is the Morrissey audience really that fickle and easily offended? If so, why do you want to cater to these people? Also, I’m not sure people would hit the bars if he chose to play NMHIF instead of Billy Budd or Speedway for the umpteenth time.

“Right?”
