I believe Morrissey thinks or hopes that the reader/listener is intelligent enough to know that he is not going to state the obvious.

Everyone knows that Spacey’s behavior is wrong, it is a thing that goes without saying.

It does work - you always have to forge a consensus & hegemony. A tribe's culture isn't genetic. Someone comes up with the stories, the songs, the way of looking at the world & the stricter the criteria for belonging the more tensions that are generated, the more fights can break out.

The Tories have always loved mass immigration, but pretend otherwise. The moneyed business class benefit the most from migration - the benefits to ordinary people are not just zero but negative as it lowers wages, overwhelms the job market and services (which then tend to disappear).

The Tories sacked their own Enoch Powell for speaking out against mass immigration. Priti Patel is simply a lying front to soothe people's fears. Back in the day when the NF began to gain votes Thatcher quickly said she understood about people's concerns on immigration and how they felt they were being "swamped". This gained her many votes and killed off the NF. But she never closed the doors and in fact let in many people from the Middle East who went on to become terrorists such as Abu "Hook" Hamza.

From '97 New Labour (who were cheap-labour loving Tories in disguise) opened the floodgates wider than ever (especially African migration) which is why our schools in London etc are now full of African kids (West Indians are well outnumbered now). This level of migration has been consistent ever since.
