If you are going to stage concerts in two iconic Los Angeles venues you’ll need posters that match the magnitude of the occasion.

And Morrissey turned to a designer sat in a box-room in Hertfordshire to create the visuals for his trio of end-of-year shows.

Sam Mabbitt was tasked with coming up with posters for the shows at United Theater and Hollywood Palladium.

I can attest that this is very true. i'd guesstimate that more than half of the people in my social circles don't care to know why Moz has said what he has said, but have heard that he is a racist or a fascist and label him as such. the rest either don't care what he has said and/or still appreciate him because of the Smiths and his body of solo work.

as someone in LA that has seen him live close to twenty times, I can tell you that it is no surprise that a NYE show on a TUESDAY night sold out. LA doesn't do much for NYE -- it's mostly just sporadic house parties that people go to outside of Grand Park in Downtown. lord knows i didn't go with the dogshit setlist that he rolled out for these overpriced shows.

Thank you very much. Looks like I did see it at the time as I've commented on the thread. I've since erased the memory because my Moz - The bitchy selfish knob - file was full.

He gives Elton a run for his money sometimes. At least Elton had the guts to come out.

At first, you see his point, Cyrus on a Moz record at the time would be great exposure for him. Would it really have done much to change the perception of him overall though, never mind move the needle on sales?

His powerplay for someone (not him obviously) to get Miley herself to say she didn't want to be on the record seems like the last act of a desperate queen. It backfires spectacularly. He then fails to pay the advance back no doubt out of the exact same set of principles that thinks its alright to nick people's artwork.

Maybe if the next album is again recorded in France, it could be called 'Deux Poids, Deux Mesures'
