You must be having a laugh.Focusing on his art, and putting out the best material of his career.
Nothing says "victim" more clearly than having your signature permanently on display on a gold tile in the lobby of a five-star hotel.
Yes, as if he's the first pop star in history to experience being slightly less popular and successful than they used to be.think he’s pointing out the contradiction.
Nothing says narcissist more than needing to point out your signature on a gold tile in a five star hotel.Nothing says "victim" more clearly than having your signature permanently on display on a gold tile in the lobby of a five-star hotel.
other artists will be told by their management to have no association with M or you will end up in the same boat. These loathsome posts on Morrissey Central need to stop, it doesn't do him or his image any favours. If Morrissey started to appear in the press then some interest may actually happen. No-one is going to sign a recluse, not these days. Labels want someone who is out there, getting seen and being seen. The only clickbait associated to Morrissey is negative clickbait. It's time he change that. He talks about not being afraid to speak, to speak your mind etc., but he seems to be doing just that, and when he doesn't it's only to a nodding Fiona.
A tour should include an interview or two, at least, within the music press or press itself. Has he really alienated everyone or do they just assume he'll say 'no'?
Money. He wants to spend someone else's money. Not his own. This is the sole reasonI think Morrissey views self-releasing as some kind of admission of defeat, unfortunately. And as further ammunition for detractors, e.g. "how sad, the guy has to release his music himself, as nobody wants him." That kind of thing. Which is a shame. Someone needs to sit him down and explain the benefits of music platforms like Bandcamp to him.
Jesus.Just wondering if anybody knows anyone who has been cancelled before and made a comeback ?
