Strange/unexpected Moz references?

Hear Me Out: ‘England Is Mine’ is hands-down the worst music biopic of all time

Under this video if you click to read more, it says Phranc toured with The Smiths and Morrissey, among many others. I wonder if it’s true and if there’s any photos, videos, or write ups about it.

Phranc was the supporting act during the Kill Uncle Tour in 1991, here's some pics:

Not sure what this place in Vancouver is in relation to Morrissey, it was closed but I could see a sign for Morrissey lager inside.

They have a plant based burger called The Meat Is Murder Burger, but you’ll have to tell them to hold off on the mozzarella if you’re vegan. If you like beer, I suggest a pint of Granville Island English Bay Ale. It’s made just a couple of miles away from the pub.

This will make my studies pleasurable, a book of Smiths lyrics translated into Italian. Sad that he didn't want his autobiography translated into other languages though.Edit: a strange thought...I study Latin as well and books such as Harry Potter are available in Latin. Maybe next term I'll try and translate Morrissey songs into Latin!!!!

Didn't go to the Salford gig the day after but people in the comments say it was better than G-Mex. I do agree that Ian McCulloch singing Ceremony with New Order was unexpected and brilliant.

I was at both.
At GMEX the band came.on maybe around 5pm. Pure daylight so no lights. The light jingle jangle sound echoed around the cavernous former railway station. Nothing wrong with the performance, just the setting.
New Order came on maybe 9.30pm and it was dark with a lights on them and a heavier sound that carried around the building well. And yes McCulloch got a great reception when he came on for the final tune.

The Maxwell Hall gig? My best ever gig. The closest I've been to a football game atmosphere at a gig. Thought it was going to kick off when between each of the first maybe 4 or 5 songs the roar of "Salford, Salford, Salford" rang out around the packed intimate venue. Morrissey putting on a childish voice reply of "Stretford, Stretford, Stretford' ended the volatile threat and everyone just sweated their way through the rest of the gig in harmony.
Still have my ticket for both gigs.

Wednesday ITV The Chase (UK quiz show)

Q. Which former member of The Smiths had a solo album called Maladjusted?

The contestant got it right :thumb::guitar:

"Marr dropped Getting Away With It, his hit with Electronic, a quirky cover of Iggy Pop’s The Passenger and some solo tracks into the set, but the backbone was the music he wrote with Morrissey.

Panic, This Charming Man, Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want, How Soon Is Now and the finale – There Is a Light That Never Goes Out – have stood the test of time and still sound fresh."
