I know. But, as far as I can see, many bands cancel and nothing is ever said about it. The song and dance made about my cancellations is usually from people who wouldn’t go to the concert in the first place.

sam:
But you will play the Canada dates?

M:
Yes.

sam:
Is your hand bad? Obviously it’s covered.

M:
The stitches are out now but if I had shaken anyone’s hand last week blood would have spurted. That’s not a nice greeting.

sam:
I don’t think anyone ever believes that you’re ill, or that you fell, or whatever.

M:
I know. Generally colds and flu are passed on to me, and there’s nothing you can do when your voice is your instrument. I go to abnormal lengths to avoid colds."

OK, so you're gonna go armchair Freud on me.

Well, gee I dunno, doc. I think my views might have something to do with how I feel about my mother. I asked for a pony for Christmas every year and never got one. Now I take out all my frustrations on Jews.

I believe what I believe because that's what the science says.



It goes deeper than that. There are racial difference in bone structure, muscle density, brain size, disease immunity and susceptibility, hormone levels, lactose tolerance, age of female sexual maturity...

There are also certain medications that can not be prescribe to certain races.

Here's the thing. You can try to make a case AGAINST race realism. You might argue that the evidence is inconclusive or speculate that there might be some hitherto undiscovered x-factor causing the discrepancies, or whatever

But what you can't do is make an affirmative case FOR racial equality. You can not produce counter-data showing the races equal. There has never been a scientific study showing all races having equal intelligence. Every study on the subject has show racial differences. Not random results but the same racial differences every time.

Now, I think the evidence is overwhelming and conclusive. But for the sake of argument, let's say it's not.
The question is "What should your default assumption be absent any slam dunk evidence one way or the other?" Your default assumption should be that human beings are just like every other animal: not equal. That's where the dog breed analogy comes in.

Interesting. I live in Auckland a VERY multicultural city as are certain parts of Oz. When South Africans move to NZ they tend to live in a certain part of Auckland, the North Shore. Chinese, Japanese and South Koreans tend to migrate to Botany and Howick while Indians and Fijian Indians many live in Papatoetoe and Manurewa. Polynesians often go to Otara, Mangere and Manurewa as, well.

If course these are broad generalisations and people do live all over, but the areas I've just mentioned do have particularky high densities of a particular type of immigrant.

People do tend to migrate to where they see familiarity.

The thing is, they didn't use to be. You've been brainwashed into thinking multi-culturalism always exsisted. It didn't. My dad lived in NZ in the 60's........it was predominantly white.

Homo sapiens are not the only humanoid creature to evolve on planet Earth. We are just the ones that won out and for a time, there were multiple species of hominid alive at the same time.

After leaving Africa, the homo sapiens interbred with Neanderthals. The different human races interbred with neanderthals at different rates and blacks didn't interbreed with Neanderthals at all. They interbred with a different hominid that we haven't found yet but know existed due to DNA testing.

But this begs the question: How can all the human races be "the same" if homo sapiens and Neanderthals are NOT "the same". The answer is they can't. And they aren't. Because race is real.

And there were more hominids than just neanderthals. East Asians and Pacific islanders interbred with a hominid call the Denisovans. And they keep discovering new species of hominids all the time.

The idea of racial equality is so f***ing preposterous once you can actually look at the evidence.

I think you've missed the point here.

Borders do bring order - yes, and I think it's safe to assume that Moz has given up on humanity (quite some time ago). But again, this question links nicely to the first, as do the answers; mixing cultures together doesn't seem to work even if the idea and intention is good.

I said this earlier - people prefer their own... let's say skin colour, religion etc. That's not to say they are not tolerant of others but push come to shove people do seem to ultimately choose those who are the 'same'.

Racism is not a concept that interests me. My only concern is the truth.

I think what Moz is trying to say is that people and cultures are different and when you try and implement these together you cause problems because people have their own ideas of what the world should be like.

The go-to man here is Robert Putnam and his book Bowling Alone. Putnam is a liberal sociologist who set out to prove the benefits of diversity but his study delivered the exact opposite results.

HE found that multiculturalism erodes social trusts. People not only trust outgroups less in diverse societies but they also trust their ingroup less. They trust their neighbors less and vote less. People trust the government less because everyone thinks they are getting screwed over in favor of another group. People are less inclined to contribute to the common good if they think another group will reap most of the benefits.

This results in people hunkering down and becoming atomized.

Good god, the sense of cringe!!!
I honestly reckon he's gone. Lost it. Lost any sense of perspective or social acceptability.

Observations:
- Notice how he NEVER ever says anythign about For Britain's manifesto. Kids' politics basically. Find ONE isolated thing you like it and tribally bang on about it.
- Nigel Farage a good PM.
- His statement about race and preferring your own race. That's proper basic Year 4 racism.
Most sentient people don't give a flying f*** about their own race. Nationality, maybe (maybe), but unless you're a member of a very extreme organisation, most people have other priorities.

I certainly know that I don't prefer my own race, "ultimately" or otherwise. Does this make Morrissey racist? That's pretty much the textbook definition of racism. Anybody who would continue following and supporting this sad, deluded old fool and his "diet racism" is a fool by association. I'm looking forward to hearing this new album from Morrissey. I feel like since there's been a few trips to the wilderness like Maladjusted - Quarry and Refusal - World Peace it now feels like the pipes are flowing again. If we get this new album in 2020 we've had four albums in 5 - 6 years which is pretty good. Oh and a compilation
