if you think the youth of today have no subculture then youre probably looking in the wrong spot. there isnt a unified macro pop culture anymore and most new subcultures are not very connected to the macro pop culture past. even in just the online gaming anime world there is a million subcultures and trends. britney grinner, probably not spelled right, was supposed to give a speech here in maryland but left when she saw a note on her door that read "gay baby jail" and thought it was a threat but if she spoke gamer she would have known that its what they call being unable to move in a game. there was a convention going on in the hotel and the notes were just random sillyness. lorem, crunk etc types of music exist as subgenres. rave culture is huge as is streetwear and a billion types of fashion

Yes I did, but I’ve only heard bits and pieces about it because most of the openly predatory stuff occurred before I started coming to this website. I remember Viva Hate talking about him following/stalking a female member of the site after a Morrissey concert, and I’ve heard about the explicit pictures he used to post of his ex-wife here on the forum. Some time in the early 2010s he went quiet on here and began living in Asian countries, which is NEVER a good sign as far as I’m concerned, when a guy with his tendencies ends up in east/southeast Asia. The “awful things you’ve done around the world” comment was speculative because he keeps his cards close to his chest now, but I can’t imagine he moved to Asia *solely* due to a passion for teaching and a desire to travel. He won’t respond to any of that of course; we could call him a predator once a day for the next month and he’ll ignore it. How/when did you learn about the predatory behaviour?!

You have to feel sorry for those young women for what they’ve had to endure; their horror stories might not ever get told. If I’m not mistaken, he said in a post a couple of months ago that while he’s living in the US right now, he plans on moving back to Asia . Most of the people who were aware of his past behaviour don’t post here any more so nowadays he can pretend to be some innocuous well traveled guy on here; as if his past has been wiped clean. (Although even when he was challenged about his behaviour back in 2014 by people who had first hand experience of it, he had already adopted the “I can’t recall” method favoured by corrupt American politicians such as Hillary Clinton and others.)

You’re right, some guy then in his late 30s/early 40s suddenly deciding to move to Asia on his own *is* enough to set an alarm bell or two ringing, but then couple that with all the evidence in the archives and you’ve now got a piercing symphony of alarm bells. Clearly he’s shameless about it all given that he keeps returning to the forum AND uses a picture of his face as his display picture, when he revealed enough about himself here over the years that could potentially see him kept out of select Asian countries if their authorities caught wind of what they’re opening up their country to.

Superb… reminds me of a young lady (I think) that I used to hang around with down the public toilets. Me, Sue Perb and Ivor Hardon - we were quite the team. I don’t know for sure what ever happened to them. I heard that Sue Perb was killed by someone called Brian Eurism, but that was through the grapevine so can’t be taken as fact. A short while later, I heard a rumour that Ivor Hardon just woke up dead one day, and that was the end of him. Halcyon days.

The only classical music I remember hearing at school was Peter and the Wolf...which was nice.
