Reviewing my videos from last night… is the twat who nearly pulled Morrissey over near the end of Everyday Is Like Sunday on here? What were you thinking, you fool?
He got a handshake, security start dragging him away and then he goes in for a hug.

Jesse is the director
Oh. Director. Di-rec-ter.

C: Jesse, it'd be cool if we could play some deep cuts, spice it up, maybe? How about Pashernate Love?

*Jesse looks at the ceiling sighing*

J: Carmen, you're new so I'll let this one slide - Brendon?

*Brendon looks nervous and starts to duck*

B: oh, Right, right - uh, Carmen, we don't do things like that.

C: But, the fan...

*Brendon looks distressed while Jesse continues to look at the ceiling breathing heavily*

B: Carmen, please let it go.

If the band members have something to say to Morrissey, they say it through Jesse only.

He signs them in bulk ahead of time. You will not see Morrissey arrive at the gig. He is either on the tour bus or in a private hire car with blacked-out windows, and is in the venue in about 5 steps. Loads of security at the back entrance (oooo-err).
I don’t get people paying £250 for these. Surely most of the significance of an autograph is the experience of meeting the person, having a quick chat, shaking their hand etc etc. With these, you’re just buying something Morrissey happened to scribble on while he was watching EastEnders.
Coronation Street, surely...:p I know what you mean. I almost went for it after the gig, but I hesitate to think what my wife would say. So, I'll probably put the £250 towards something more practical. Like a new Xbox.

First time poster , Great gig last night ! Can't wait for tonight also...pity the setlists isn't a bit longer but ah well we are lucky to have him back here after the infamous bottle incident in 2009!

This time ....

In my experience, there's always plenty left. I can't imagine many people want to pay £250 for an autograph on a reissued album, or even worse, someone else's album.
Stacks of them in Dublin, all gone by the end. Any smiths ones go before the start of the show, sometimes there are Viva Hate or Vauxhall or Best of still going afterwards.

Could he have put egg in anybody elses name???
Not Edwina Currie..I don't know why I am associating egg with anything but that's just me.
Eggwina Currie...harks back to the 'eggs = salmonella' claim made by her some years back. The impact of her statement not only led to the loss of revenue for egg producers, but further led to the slaughter of four million hens (& ultimately her resignation). Guessing this is the root cause of Moz's main issue with EC. She was born in Liverpool (hence her even getting a reference at all), but was Conservative MP for S. Derbyshire. Also had an affair with (the then Prime Minster) John Major (alleged), and more I will not say...

Absolutely stunning venue. If Morrissey’s popular re-calibration means he continues to play these places—rather than the likes of Manchester and Leeds arenas—then the silver lining must be bigger than the cloud for live music fans.

I need some advice please, with the signed vinyls are there many left after the gig or do they sell out before the gig starts? Would prefer to buy at the end so don’t have to worry about protecting it during. Assume the stall won’t reserve it to collect after? Have they been on sale at every gig so far? Thanks
I asked fifteen minutes before the show started, there were only twelve left. I don't know how many they sell, but there are numerous photos of people with them and I got one too. I decided not to risk it until after the show, so ran back to the car park to safely deposit it.
I don't understand how I've seen people with Smiths ones, because all they had listed were The Best Of, Vauxhall & I and Viva Hate. So I got Viva Hate. Signed in a weird fluid-looking ink. I hope it holds up. Already ordered a frame thing.

So normally there are usually some left then?

Thanks everyone for the signed vinyl feedback. Much appreciated. I really want the smiths vinyl when I go this weekend. Sounds like they go first before the morrissey vinyls. Assume venues allow you back in if i was to head out to drop off vinyl to the car before the gig? Stall won’t keep it back for you to collect after?

I think (I would hope) that the idea was to ask about two leaders/politicians who he thinks are rubbish, then one he approves of to show a contrast, and he was hoping for a unanimous 'yes' for Zelenskyy. Or maybe he hates them all.
I suspect Morrissey was hoping people would boo Zelensky as well. He is increasingly going down the alt right wormhole, and if you look at these folks on Twitter, a huge chunk of them are pro-Putin.

I have one more question. As I understand it, the Empire Theater is all seated. If so , did people from the queue list took places in front of the stage ( standing in a front row ) , no matter what seats they have bought ?
As with most all seated shows, a large chunk of folks left their seats when Moz came on and ran down the front,so the front few rows immediately turned into a general standing pit area. I'm fine with this - it's supposed to be a rowdy rock concert, not people politely sitting down watching a play.
