God bless Alan Bennett forever and always. One of the greatest living masters. The video sounds great. They should’ve made it.

Still love it! Definitely one of the better covers of his songs.

Though it’s difficult to improve on perfection, she does bring a different angle to it. Which for me, is the point of covering a song.

Oh, me too. The sound of his voice can cure any depression.

Nobody depicts the mundane with the same profundity as him. Always with a generous pinch of melancholy that really shakes you up.

That Girl, Dana, is a very good friend of David Bowie, she sang some great stuff in the 1980's plus a couple of tracks with Bowie too in the 1970s recorded live. In 2024, it's fantastic Dana sings STDIB, with such style and humour. Wow, she's class.

Folks might not realise but Morrissey returned back to top form with STDIB and others. Now we have 2024 to be thankful for and another set of Releases on the road ahead - great news x
