Strange/unexpected Moz references?

This particular mod is under the (mis)apprehension that the subreddit will be removed by Reddit if any posts even so much as mention Morrissey's comments without completely and unambiguously condemning them. It is the source of a long-running dispute.
Thank you. Has that dispute been referred to somewhere else already? Do you know who started and runs the subreddit?

I am not sure who actually started the subreddit, but it was left unmoderated for a period (the originally creator must have become inactive), so it was given to two new moderators. It is one of these two who made the post you referred to, the other moderator does not think that approach is necessary.

Right. So it is an issue. I think it should be. The moderator's abusing their position, acting as judge and jury, and liable to be a negative influence on users of the site. Kathy Burke retracted similar accusations she made that were printed.

Very cool find. I just heard about this movie last week. The reviews are not good. This movie seems very unique though, I think it deserves a watch. For some reason, it reminds me of David Lynch's Rabbits at first glance.

Don't care for critic reviews myself, I'm more of a "see for yourself" type of person. I advise everyone to do the same; We all have our own brain.

That's one of my favorite Smiths lyrics and songs. I adore the way he sings it -- extra melancholic, & it sure says something to me about my life.
Agreed. I'm actually incensed that they say this isn't one of Morrissey's better lyrics. It's a masterpiece! In fact I'm going to go and listen to Rubber Ring on repeat now and let off some steam :lbf:

That is the role of the moderator though

It is a masterpiece! He has so many though. I am in love his writing style. 😍
It is for sure a pressure releasing song.
It makes me feel better.

The number of times I have pondered out loud to myself, 'the passing of time and all of it's sickening crimes.' It's like one of the cornerstone questions of my existence!

Yet said 'journalist' says it's not one of his better lyrics.:crazy:

"It was an opening into a world of rock 'n' roll, sleaze, sexuality, drugs, violence and danger." They might sound worlds apart, but The Smiths wouldn't have existed without The Stooges, the US punks who made Johnny Marr's favourite record of all time.
