Strange/unexpected Moz references?

(morrissey.de was a portal run by Warners and then Universal Music).

Right at the 33:12 mark you will hear the Morrissey reference... 🥰

For context, Dj Dougpound does random little sounds throughout the show called "drops" and sometimes he will pop that one in there. It always makes me giggle.

Office Hours is my favorite podcast. Honestly, it's the only podcast I listen to. I'm a big Tim Heidecker fan and I have been for a long time, since the Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! days.
It makes me laugh, like all of his content does. I recommend it.

I'm gunna go off the rails and brag a tiny bit: Tim Heidecker played a comedy show/concert in August of 2023 and I was invited to come dance on stage with 1 other girl to one of the songs, "Moving Backwards," and I got to hit a note on Vic's the keyboard everytime it was time to.
It was so exciting. 😍 Here's a picture of me on stage that night! I wish it wasn't zoomed in, but oh well.

Anyway.. sorry about the mini rant!
Hope you are all having a lovely day!

Another OHL-head! I always figured that drop was Moz but was never 100% sure. If you like Office Hours, I'd also recommend the Poundcast (Doug's podcast with Brent Weinbach) and The Endless Honeymoon Podcast (an advice podcast with Moshe Kasher and Natasha Leggero).

Omg HELLO fellow OHL-head. :))
In the YouTube chat I always ask Doug to play it for me. One time he actually did immediately after I asked. :) it's my favorite drop.

Singular Morrissey mention by James.

Blitz Vega have released a music video for their track "Pass The Gun", which features Z-Trip. Reybee sent over these details: (Initially written by Kav Sandhu when he was a teenager, "Pass The Gun" (video out today) stands apart from the other tracks on Northern Gentleman, the debut album by Blitz Vega (out now), as it was inspired by a specific time period and embraces the "excitement of youth when looking at the world with a carefree attitude." Kav adds, "Musicians in bands I respected such as Bonehead from Oasis would say, 'You need to record that song again!' So, we did. Andy Rourke (The Smiths) knocked out this epic bass line. Then we had Z-Trip (Kasabian, Public Enemy, LL Cool J) come in the studio to add his magic. That was the icing! Musically, it was inspired by all the different influences in our lives at the time - clubs, parties, gigs good times and all the characters you meet while you're in that zone!"

Collaboration with Morrissey mentioned in article about The Pretenders' request to repeat concert-goers to cool it so locals get a fair chance -https://www.syracuse.com/entertainment/2024/10/rock-legend-kicks-fans-out-of-front-row-at-concerts-way-over-the-line.html
