Strange/unexpected Moz references?

Chummy but lamely drawing on gossip, imo.

Redditers are wondering about a live album apparently not seen on Spotify till recently

One of the commentors is correct.
It's Glastonbury, 2011 (namely: the BBC broadcast version. Only 12/15trks, although all 15 have surfaced).
It's been there 4 years and is in no way official - likely sourced from the DVD or FLAC.
Much like YT Music having the very unofficial First Among Equals in their paid access section or how Apple had BOT listed as available and it was a fan-made playlist of live tracks. That's happened before on Spotify too. They don't seem to vet all the material / playlists being circulated.

Redditers will appreciate that, as many seem to keep an eye on here too. That information about Apple, Spotify and YTMusic swiping fan-created content to then sell, is disgusting :poop:

It is all in how they word (or don't) the source. Amazon appear to turn a blind eye to bootlegs if they are "broadcasts".
First Among Equals - Wolverhampton becomes a broadcast which it definitely wasn't.
Poetry Hour - Colorado becomes a broadcast which it wasn't. Both had leaks here and on Smiths Torrents before they ever got recycled.

Similar Spotify issue here:

Nancy Sinatra reminiscing on Twitter about her self-titled album, released 20 years ago. Not sure I've seen Morrissey referred to as a "little stinker" before, but it rather suits him!

Wondering if this is a typo and she meant 'tinker' which would make more sense?

Not sure? In my mind "little stinker" is something that posh people in the olden days might say to their children - or older siblings to their younger siblings. Either way, it's a great phrase!

I may have heard this wrong, but I believe Richard Blade plans to feature M on "Forget Me Not Friday," which happens each Friday at 6 (Eastern). It will not be anything new or live; Blade usually just talks some and plays a (nearly) forgotten track. It may not be all that "strange and unexpected" to hear M on 1st Wave, but I just thought I would pass it along. 💞

hope he plays ‘I don’t mind if you forget me’. ;)

‘America is not the World’: Did Morrissey release the worst protest song ever written?

"Kelly Scanlon" must be the name of their AI chatbot. Still a great song, and Morrissey was savvier than most of the artists at the time who aimed particularly at George W. Bush. That stuff dates, but the only line in America that dates is the one about the president not being black (though the female part could soon change, too). Rhyming "brought you the hamburger" with "you know where you can shove your hamburger" was daring, but the delivery makes it.

"Little Stinker" in this case is an affectionate saying - we use it in Australia too - but to confuse things it can also be a bad saying - depends on context.
