Not fussed :lbf:

Saw Coldplay years ago, watched 2 songs from Glastonbury on Iplayer and switched it off, can't fathom how they went from being a brilliant band to a bunch of corporate, pretentious arseholes.

Yeah, I went to see them after their first LP came out. The first two LPs had quite a few songs I really liked. I don't know how "corporate" they are, but you're probably right about that and their musical output after those early records (what little I've heard of it, at least) really has been awful.

I tried to register on instaglum for the first time the other day and managed to be refused access in 11 seconds for 6 months or something. Look, that pseudo may already be taken by a terrorist but in the meantime I'm missing out on a lot of bunnies.

They seem genuine to me. Writing songs people love then touring the world to sing for those people. They make it look easy and fun.

Chris Martin seems like a fun guy, I imagine being married to pretentious weirdo Gwenyth Paltrow would kill your spirit and will to live.

Yes saw that, no idea why as she didn't post her thoughts on Coldplay, maybe she's just one of those odd balls that downvotes based on her opinion on other posters rather than the content posted.

She is avenging her buddy who claims to have us all on ignore, and she's just very unhappy and unpleasant

I really liked their first 2 albums and they were excellent when I saw them but when you start giving people wristbands that flash different colours in time to the music (as they do nowadays)and the band wear clothing with matching patterns on, to me it starts to feel a bit gimmicky. Last night I turned it off when he started doing Justin Timberlake type dancing, he certainly didn't do shit like that when I saw them.

Lol if you come across a video of the dancing can you post it please

Not sure if you have BBC IPlayer where you are, if you do they replay the headline gigs on there, if not I’ll try and find some footage.
I don’t have access to iplayer right now but that dancing sounds like it would have been the highlight of the night and the only thing ever worth watching him for :lbf:
