Bit of an oddity, but included as an insight to his musical taste.
Jesse chooses a playlist for a 'luxury' fashion brand.
What no Morrissey!?
Regards,
FWD.

Tobias isn't Boorer or Whyte and none of the above are Marr ... but I feel that he's scapegoated for a turn that is almost entirely Morrissey's own fault. The difficulty with recent Morrissey is that since WPINOYB, every record has included at least several great songs and a lot of half-baked, soft-right, and charmless doggerel from Moz himself; these are often offset by beautiful arrangements and melodies and sometimes Tobias contributes wonders. His worst sin is being a yes man, he's a totally fine alternative rock guitarist. But no matter how you slice it, this is a fantastic playlist that indicates a serious, ecumenical ear.

Sadly I don't think it will ever stop until Alain comes back or Jesse leaves but it doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon. I'd also say with Boz gone it left more room for Jesse to finally dominate an album. I lean more on the Alain side of the fence, but I agree, I Am Not A Dog On A Chain was the best album since maybe Ringleader or Years Of Refusal but kinda feel it was down to the production.
I don't really care if it never stops as it's not something I can control and therefore I couldn't care less. I'm not holding out for Alain's return either. I already did that. He came back after twenty years gone and lasted all of one tour and a studio session so something must've irked him deeply to leave so soon again. He had his reasons I'm sure.

I disagree that it was down to the production alone but you have a point there for sure. There are quite a few Jesse songs I'm not into at all but even before Dog he's written some very good songs like If You Don't Like Me Then Don't Look At Me.

I have no dog in this fight, but want to remind you all of this fact:

People WANTED to like Jesse. Me included! We WANT a good member for Moz’s band.

But the fact is this: he proved himself to be AWFUL in so many ways. He is a bad egg and a bad guitarist. THAT IS ALL FACT.

The end.

You cannot say this shit without receipts. Unless you can provide proof he is “awful” then you’re just an anonymous loser posting lies about someone you’re jealous of. On the internet. I doubt you’ve ever been near him.

The case is closed!
Nothing hateful about the truth except the hate from those who refuse to accept it.
Remember 20 years and only 35 co writes vs Alain's 84.
It took almost 20 years for jesse to dominate an album and like vinceevert said... thats only because BOZ left.

MOZ also said Bonfire would be released in 2022.
MOZ also said we would be getting re-releases of Ringleader, Southpaw, Quarry, Years of Refusal, World Peace.
The point is MOZ says alot of things.

the facts are the facts... its not my opinion.

You new gen fans should really do your homework and read liner notes and song writing credits.
Go back and watch all the videos from MOZ's golden years!
If you only discovered MOZ in the last 15 or 20 years you have really missed out and haven't seen or heard anything!
This is by far the truth and the truth hurts nowadays. Not willing to accept that says a lot about you. We know Jesse has his minions and even himself commenting on here. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least because he truly has jealousy written all over his face. Alain will always be in our hearts as the best guitarist Moz has ever had.

Why can’t you say you prefer Alain without having to allude to nasty things about Jesse’s character? You have never met him and it’s called defamation. When someone reads an anonymous person posting shit about someone onlnline it just makes the poster look bad, not Jesse.

Not only makes the poster look bad but the reckless ugly aggro reflects badly on the person supposedly being defended too. Who wants loons like that in your corner? The venomous froth is seen through a mile off.

This year is the 25th anniversary of the bombing in Omagh which killed 29 people in 1998. Morrissey played in the little town in 2009

The only time I got right up front at the stage! Friendly people I know who stayed in the humble one and only hotel in the town spent quality time after the show in the company of Jesse and some of the other band members. If he doesn't suffer fools gladly, whose fault is that?

I’m certain he and the band were incredibly nice and professional to you.

You wanted to like him? Is he running for office?

One night after a show I was with a few other fans waiting at the bus. We were hoping, of course, that Morrissey would come out. Even if he didn’t stop, at least we were able to see him, Well suddenly the door opens and it’s the band. I was so excited. But here comes Jesse, like a soldier at war, face pinched up (just like above photo) stomping his way towards me. I couldn’t get out of the way fast enough and he actually clipped me with his shoulder and nearly knocked me down. He didn’t stop to say excuse me or I’m sorry - nothing. I don’t know if it was at that moment it hit me. Not only did I find his playing too rough, but he was a jerk. That sealed it for me.

I guess I’ve come to terms with the fact that Morrissey is not the artist he used to be. I can’t identify with his music anymore. Even with some of the newer Whyte songs. He’s Americanized himself way too much. He croons through Suedehead these days…

He will alway mean so much to me and I will always love him, but maybe his music is just no longer for me. Which is truly tragic, really…but here we are.

There are two sides to every story

If you actually watch the video, the humungous man is actually going to deliberately hurt Morrissey and something bad would have happened if not for Jesse and security. In fact, Jesse is the one who blocked the attack.

Firstly, indeed. Secondly, remember that this is Morrisey's show and tribute. People are there mainly for him. For the rest of the band it is almost the same as your work for a boss. They gain very little benefits in comparison to Morrissey. It may be irritating.
