Big Mouth Strikes AGAIN! Morrissey is filmed from his BA business class seat demanding to be 'let off' the plane that was grounded due to stormy weather

Excerpt:
Severe thunderstorms meant his flight from London Heathrow to the Irish capital was diverted to Shannon on the west coast of Ireland where it sat on the tarmac for almost two hours until the weather improved.

But once on the tarmac, witnesses said Morrissey demanded to speak to the captain and asked to be 'let off' the Airbus A320 as he didn't 'want to be hanging around in [a] coffin' for hours.

Video passed to MailOnline shows him standing at the front of the plane, in a blue suit, talking to a cabin crew member who is heard telling him: 'We have to put the paperwork in the computer, close the door and then off we go'.

🙄
Drunk and disorderly my arse. How the hell can you tell from a scratchy few seconds on a phone.
He’s clapped his hands and made his point.
There was no f***ing point to make, that's the point.

What is really sad is that you think crew members should be abused and harassed just because your idol did it. You have a god, don't fool yourself. His behavior was despicable, those people were doing their jobs in circumstances beyond their control, they were confined in a cabin with him and you think it's sad others did not join in with his bullying.
:paranoid: :lbf:

you mean that big bully in the sky? That may be your burden, but not mine.

He was drunk and disorderly. That is a crime here in the US, not sure about other places. Here he most likely would have been escorted off the plane probably in handcuffs, quite forcefully if necessary and detained.

We have different standards in the UK...you have to do something really extreme to get de-planed here...being a bit drunk and talking crap-slow hanclaping the pilot only gets you a *rolls-eye*...they see it all... and a whiny ass C List has been pop star having a pity party in business class doesn't even make it to dinner party anecdote status... ... Morrissey wouldn't dare try this crap in economy class as nobody would even blink...they'd just throw sausage rolls ...

I think you should put a $50 compensation claim to the airline and tell them they owe you for the fact that you even had to watch the clip!! And i want this $50 for you!
It was completely self serving of me to watch the clip, I wanted my bitching to be as precise as possible

People said he seemed pretty drunk, someone should have pretended to be Fiona and attempted to interview him on camera.
Here in the US I think the plan is de-escalation, they don't want that person acting out in flight. Of course plenty of people experience delays and have to sit on the tarmac for a while and don't do this.

Morrissey drinks "rumors"? Most grown up people drink. What exactly is shocking about this?

What a ridiculous thing to say. No, the airline could NOT pursue criminal charges over someone sarcastically clapping.
He’s obviously drunk and the article states so. He didn't just clap, the article implies much more happened including Morrissey attempting to leave the plane. Part of this fracas is shown at the end of the video with the Captain instructing him to sit down before take off. People have been arrested for a lot less on aircrafts and its very reminiscent of Lee Ryan’s recent meltdown which was pursued by the courts. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/cri...itish-airways-abuse-plane-staff-b1052539.html

The unnamed people "quoted" in the article? Could be completely made up (not that I care one bit whether he was drunk or not)
I suppose the people who filmed it are also ”made up” and maybe the cabin crew are all actors and it’s a great big set up. Get real and take off your rose-tinted spectacles.

Morrissey is a 'special' Diva...the temperature drops a few degrees in California and he cancels a show at short notice...(mid-show!)...Nashville is hit by a lightning rain storm and Taylor Swift and her fans hunker down for 4 hours then coast for 3 hours to a 2am climax: who would you rather be on a warship with? Taylor or Morrissey?

He's an absolute embarrassment to the ideal of Stoic Masculinity...pathetic specimen...

How is it in any way similar to the Lee Ryan incident? Other than being on a plane.

Is that the best they can do?
A passenger complains about a delay and becomes a bit sarcastic and disagreeable. We've all done it. He's not rude or aggressive.
Big deal. Nothing to see here.
I do have to say though - makes me think being out on the town with Mozzer after a few G & Ts must be a lot of fun. He's hilarious!
“We’ve all done it”?

No, we haven’t. We are not all entitled twats.

The (Daily Mail) articles states so, with what evidence exactly?

And I read nothing about Moz attempting to leave the plane, just about him supposedly "demanding" to be allowed to leave the plane.

And really, you're surely joking when saying this in any way resembles what this Lee Ryan guy did

"After being refused more alcohol on the plane and told to return to his seat, Ryan made comments about Leah Gordon's looks, calling her a “chocolate cookie” before grabbing her wrists.

Ryan was on Thursday found guilty at Ealing Magistrates' Court of being drunk on an aircraft, assaulting a police officer by biting him, racially aggravated common assault by beating and behaving in an abusive way towards the cabin crew member."

Guess you couldn't find any of these cases where "people have been arrested for a lot less"?

Drunken popstar abusing airline staff, causing distress to staff and other passangers, demanding and attempting to leave aircraft. The only differnce is these BA stewards managed to deescalate the situation and the stewards in the Lee Ryan incident couldn’t. Morrissey's self inflicted, drunken melodrama could’ve ended in a similar and more serious way if the stewards hadn’t been so professional and reasonable.

You don't think those unnamed people quoted by the Daily Mail could be made up? Do I need to point out the difference between a video with people we can watch and hear, and supposed quotes by unnamed sources?

A passenger expressed support for the former Smiths frontman, saying "He was just saying what we were all thinking".

I’m sure Morrissey would also be found guilty of being drunk on an aircraft, and behaving in an abusive way towards cabin crew members, if they chose to pursue it. People defending his behavour are truly morally lost and maybe even delusional, they're not helping. They should refer to Morrissey’s own words and understand how much he needs someone to tell him the things wrong with him.

“You told me all the things
That you think are wrong with me
I just wish you'd stayed around and helped me put them right”

“You listed all the things
That people cannot stand about me
I just wish you'd stayed around and helped me to improve”

I didn`t think it was such a big deal. He didn`t hit or insult anyone. I suppose he was just frustrated and let it out a bit. Someone records this and they get their little piece of dirt on someone they don`t like anymore and there you go. I`m still a Moz fan.
