I cannot believe how much controversy a picture of Morrissey's arse is causing.
It's an insert for the Greatest Hits NOT the cover, only people who buy the album will see it, it's not gonna be worrying the general public, unless they buy the CD.

Is it even that big of a deal?

When I saw it for the first time I just laughed and wondered what made him do it. It's not offensive, crude or even that rude.

The press only print PR pieces. A press release hasn't been sent so they don't know it exists. They will take at least a week to pick up on this, that's if they do.
