For the second song in a row, Johnny's contribution outshines Morrissey's. The lyrics are amusing, but fairly throwaway. It is the music that makes this one a keeper.
One of their truly great singles and again a very original composition, starting with a verse and accoustic strum, then repeating the chorus 3 times. while the band rocks out. And when it stops, you still want it to go on.
I might get ridiculed into oblivion now, but this might be one of my least favorite Smiths songs. That said, it’s still great fun and the production is lovely. Morrissey’s words are the high point.
