finally finished indian summer by jonathan knowles. really strong start and a nice ending but it went to mush in the middle. felt like the middle was just filler and yeah i know its supposed to convey the stagnation but it also was a large section of the book filled with very little character developement or point. for sure made me wonder what war time america was like with all of the idiots drafted. must have been ironically peaceful in a way. now reading rapture by susan minot. a dialogue driven narrative about a duos passion and the various things that stand between it and the remainder of themselves

My hair is the colour of yams and I f***ing hate it. I don't know why it's the colour yams now. Maybe it's because I've been taking iron for almost a year. My hair was reddish when I was born (i was born with long hair) and it seems to have gone back to that colour (albeit not a vibrant, dazzling red, but the queasy, milquetoast colour of mashed yams). On the one hand I like it, because with my green eyes and rosey cheeks I look very celtic, but on the other hand I hate it because it goes with absolutely nothing other than certain shades of red and green. It even looks terrible against black which used to be my go-to when all else failed. I'd like to dye it black but I don't think my colour combination would suit any other hair colour. It's a conundrum. I hate my colouring right now. Why can't I just have black hair and blue eyes?! 😫
 
Might be nonsense, but a friend in the UAE has shared that Morrissey will be supporting Oasis on their UK tour next year. He’s not the fountain of knowledge, but he does tend to pick up on this kind of stuff.

Your opinion of Pixies’ new music is just wrong!

I want to feed a Russian the way the Russians are feeding the bears in the videos. In fact, I’d like it if a bear and I could feed a Russian together. What would be a good type of food to attract a Russian to us so that a bear and I could feed it? I’m thinking Pelmeni with a mushroom filling. Then maybe it’d let me pet its arm through its puffer jacket :love:

If you think pixies new album is good I'd suggest a visit to a hearing specialist or try and remove the wax build up in yer lug holes at home. I'd do the latter initially, it's the cheaper option.
As everyone knows, bears eat marmalade sandwiches.
 
I think it’s great that these old timers are sticking together.

I mean they’re both more or less attracting the same age group, so why not.
