Great show. Tons of young people my age (14-23). Merch line was a bit of a hot mess, but other than that, energy was best in the seats. The floor was DEAD mainly because of the older age of most people down there and tons of security walking around and people couldn't leave their seats without escort.

Yes Moz crowds are a bit boring in USA. over the last 7 years or so.
I thought something had happened in America but other bands like Idles, Liam G, Sparks, Boy Harsher and the other night Suede and Manic have a wild crowd. Suede made the crowd mental
M gigs are just way way better in UK/ Ireland and irs nearly always been like that
Its a shame as it effects M's perfomance
I was at the Suede show in LA. Brett Anderson put out about 100 times the energy that Morrissey puts out. I’d say it’s more up to the artist, not the crowd.

That's very interesting. Hmmm. Yeh, I bet it does affect his performance! The feedback from the crowd and their energy feeds performers on stage. It's their lifeblood. He probably knows now what his reception will be in each place he plays.

its also the difference if you go to an american cinema there will be whooping and hollering but in uk cinemas there might be a polite clap at the end, just different people and culture.
I could imagine the reaction if you whooped in a cinema in the north. I imagine it would result in a whooping of a different kind altogether.

I was at Suede on Thursday and Morrissey last night too. Brett and Morrissey are two very different performers - always have been. Morrissey never jumped around like that (last night was show 53 for me). Morrissey is also like 10 years older than Brett. The crowd in the seats last night were pretty stoked, too. One more thing- Brett was playing to about what 2500 people - in very close proximity? Moz had 11,000 last night in an arena. I love them both - buut I wouldn't compare their "energy".

Does anyone know what the new background gif for “We Hate It…” is from?

But Morrissey did used to dance and fling himself about, fall to the ground, etc. He's not a young man anymore it's true, neither is Brett. There is no comparing the two. Morrissey is a crooner and Brett is a rock'n'roll star, with corresponding audience responses.

Anyone feel free to identify the drum header (had a touch of McQueen to me again):

Footage & photos aren't brilliant currently, not to mention stage 'furniture' being quite obtrusive.

I would like to mention some highlights, but it's impossible. Incredible concert, great set list , Morrissey in a top form, the" new song " is sensational .

That went well. Looks like Morrissey's going to have to shelve his live-in-oblivion plans for a while longer.

Come on, BMG! Bite! 🪝

Thank you Wild T.
Today & today only - a free credit in the wiki.
Cheers.
