I was at the Jools Holland show and he did 3 songs. The other 2 are ... ' I wish you lonely ' and 'all the young people must fall in love ' ... got so close to him but yet so far... thought we might see them in the bar after , but no.

Note posted by Johnny Barleycorn:

This edition is the short version. The full show will be on Friday.

I stand corrected.

Is Top of the Pops still on Thursday after Nationwide though?

Once we Brexit hopefully they'll bring back Nationwide and Thursday night Top of the Pops. And the 3 day week and Bangers and Smash.

For those not totally with the latest Moz, Josh Homme has just shown life could be a lot worse, I mean what the f***?

Wasn’t great was it?

Mind you, they seem to have now cut to an episode of Botched.

I think you're right! Unless he somehow manages to squeeze one in.
I wish time would move on and turn Marty into a mummy and get it over with.
The National get a second and final song. FFS bland boring. Moz was great though.

The National probably got another as they have just had a number one album in the UK, didn’t think they were bland though.

There will be better quality versions, but enjoy Spent... for those unable to access it anywhere yet.
Just one song, probably another one or two on the bigger show,
Regards,
FWD

Thumbs up for the first part of your comment but the second part, er, not so much. I have to do this. No, I'm not a "vegan nazi". But I sho' will judge a muthaf***a's ass! :p

Sometimes a leg of lamb is not a lamb's leg.

I stand corrected said the man in the orthopaedic shoe.

I saw the National in 2009/10 in Brixton. They were a good live band but the audience was full of earnest looking men with little to no hair. Then I found out they supported Barack Obama (as in really really backed him and would not counter any criticism of him) and they went really down in my estimations. I don't hate Obama by the way I just found their uncritical support baffling for a so-called intelligent band.
Yet Morrissey I can forgive fir his flirtations with the ridiculous UKIP party. It's a strange world.

First time hearing the national.. and I must say I thought they were really good... dare I say.. better than Moz.

It's a diet, dear, not a *REDACTED*

Well, no, it's not just a diet. You must not know many vegans...anyway. I was in on my joke hence the :p emoji. But one good thing...I hadn't heard a single QOTSA song until today. They're cool! Gonna check them out now....ta! :brows:
