Like thousands of others I applied for tickets for the show and i wasn't disappointed i didn't get them. After the last album world peace which I thought was a load of tripe, it doesn't look good for low in high school, like others have commented back on the chain gang was a bit of a highlight, his new stuff doesn't gird the loins as it were. I'm a morrissey and smiths fan since day one one when I was given a cassette copy of their first album, ( showing my age) but he just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Less sun and more rain wouldn't do him and his career any harm whatsoever.

I saw your message and was in time to record the last minute and a half. I'll post that if no-one got the whole thing.

btw, straight after it, they said the whole concert will be on the red button from 9pm.

ETA: I just realised it will be on iPlayer later, so no need to post it I guess.
Many thanks to Cornflakes who posted it download forum.
Red button will be available from 21:00.

I saw The National last week in Manchester. An exciting band at the peak of their creative powers. I mention this because I see they're sharing the floor with Moz on Jools Holland this week. The difference could not be more palpable.

I was desperate to get tickets to see them last week. I honestly wouldn't pay to see Morrissey live now, and probably wouldn't be that bothered if I missed a nearby show. By now I'm just embarrassed to say I'm a Moz fan; his new stuff just doesn't cut it. Toss in the excruciating political nonsense, and it's beyond ridiculous.

Get off the stage.

My sentiments exactly. I started listening to The Smiths/Morrissey 25 years ago as it was an alternative to the dross that was in the charts at the time. Sad to say Morrissey is now the one releasing dross and there are lots of other bands I'd rather go and see live instead.

oh you silly old man, your making a fool of yourself so get off the stage

I am so glad I chose to go see The Killers and pass on Morrissey. The new material is very childish and dated and his political views are yesterdays news. Morrissey its time to call it day and hang up your mic.

Steve,
Great job on going the extra mile and playing more than 20 minutes...awesome dude! Remember we need to get the Brits to buy buy buy without a tour. Keep it up with the uskips comments, but the black panther shirts are a head scratcher?? Just remember in 3 days you will be back home in LA and everything will be normal again. PS....got you bitchin Dodger playoff tickets right between Snoopy Dog and David Beck Ham. Don't worry John Lydon is on the opposite side of the stadium.

Apart from Morrissey's ill-conceived remarks on that crypto-fascist, the songs weren't half as bad as some have made out. In particular, All the Young People and Home is a Question Mark stand out, the line "wrap your legs around my face just to greet met" had me howling. Prefer both these tracks to most of what was on World Peace.

all these new names and they will be gone by this time tomorrow, who knows what the new songs will sound like once they have been put through production.nothing ever changes on here.

The only snowflakes Morrissey will see this December are the ones in the crowd at his gigs.

His political views are as loyal as a prostitute. Surely people must realise by now he is only taking the piss.

The real pity is musically and maybe lyrically he just can't do something different or more evolved ..... same old really .... at this stage surely it's time to take a bloody chance????

I certainly understand your point, but I guess the accusations of racism come from anti-immigration sentiments... Again, whether this is actually racist or not is debatable, the problem is it is hard to see someone's motives. I do agree though that the issues of immigration is certainly not a simple one like a lot of people seem to make out, a question of morality and nothing else.

I think some people have balanced the benefits Islam brings to the UK with getting blown up on a train or run over on a pavement and thought, perhaps controversially, it’s not probably not worth the hassle.

That entire soupy-slop of pancake batter was atrociously painful.

The show’s been over for some time now.
The house lights have been on for the better part of two decades.
Morrissey has left the building.
Kindly exit the theatre.

''Oh the voting was rigged, i forgot'' Seems like sarcasm to me, mocking the absurd notion the vote was rigged. Either that, or take what he said at face value, and assume he really is dumb enough to believe it was actually rigged.
