Big Mouth Strikes AGAIN! Morrissey is filmed from his BA business class seat demanding to be 'let off' the plane that was grounded due to stormy weather

Excerpt:
Severe thunderstorms meant his flight from London Heathrow to the Irish capital was diverted to Shannon on the west coast of Ireland where it sat on the tarmac for almost two hours until the weather improved.

But once on the tarmac, witnesses said Morrissey demanded to speak to the captain and asked to be 'let off' the Airbus A320 as he didn't 'want to be hanging around in [a] coffin' for hours.

Video passed to MailOnline shows him standing at the front of the plane, in a blue suit, talking to a cabin crew member who is heard telling him: 'We have to put the paperwork in the computer, close the door and then off we go'.

I can’t believe there’s 19 pages of this shit. Moz behaved sort of like a dick on an airplane and was caught on camera. It wasn’t that bad and there’s nothing to analyze. Move on.
 
Think what you like mate, its totally true. The thing is I'm not attacking the guy, not at all. Lots of us Brits like getting pissed. I wasn’t saying he's like the Oasis brothers back in the day. I was just saying its not out of character for him to get pissed and act out.That's all, what's wrong with that ?
I think some of the Americans had him down as some hippy type who was straight edge. Which used to always make some of us older brits LOL. Do you not think this outburst is in line with some of the gossip that has been passed around lately? Notice by the way Jesse and Donny were no way near him, so you can't blame them. Anyfeckingway, I wasn't attacking the dude, I was saying I feel for him. I think he is still a bit troubled and still feeling the pain of his moms passing. Which turns out to be true, look at this new story on central, visiting his moms house? Unless,of course, you think he is that cynical that he would use his moms death to take away the heat from the none story in the Daily Fail?

I totally agree. I can't see why people are getting so beat up about it including M. Its not a "hit piece" I think the stuff that happened in Italy with the police guy was worse. That made him look stupid. This makes him looks funny and a bit of lad.
 
Im still hyped that the gigs are still going on. I was a bit pissed by the whole Alain thing, as I thought that unit was fire but after 24 hours, I was just happy M is still out there and I'm going to a few UK gigs. The M fan base gets a bad press, largely from suck ups and haters on this site but when you get out to his gigs, the people are awesome. The Moz Army folks were brilliant this year Nice to see some of the stateside fans back on my home ground.
I think its wrong to take everything out on Jesse as well, its M's business who he wants around, not ours. If I was M, Im not sure I would be too happy with AW, hes gone from being in the band to trying to almost be a M copycat, he tries to sing like him, write songs like him, do poses like him, uses age old M lore reference points. Does covers of Smiths songs, as if he wrote them. Its a bit over kill- hes obviously been trying to carve out some off M's fan base for himself. I'm not attacking, AW, bitch gotta get paid and shit. Im saying who knows what is going on.

Well the public Alain (and his band) can appeal to is to part of Moz’s fan base for sure.

About the picture posted on Central, I wonder if Moz owns that house?

The crew made a good call by just getting on with their job and responding with humour. What we can see in the video is a passenger complaining about a significant delay and rerouting. Is the passenger complaining in an adult and polite way? No. Is the complaining behaviour sarcastic and a bit disagreeable? Yes. Does the complaining behaviour cross over into being abusive, intimidating, or disruptive? No. Most of the other passengers probably shared Moz's frustration.

Also, note that Morrissey always flies BA when he can, and he flies often. So he must be one of their platinumm members, someone BA would rather use.

Also surely this isn’t something which would have any influence on his getting a record deal, I wouldn’t think so.
 
This whole thing is not a big deal, but call it what is douchey behavior caught on video... no reason to try to elevate it to something noble. Overall it's just sad that his career is in a state where this is what's being discussed instead of his art.

Absolutely. I'd be annoyed in this situation, but it's not the fault of the staff at the end of the day. They're just ordinary people, doing jobs that they won't get paid that much for. They don't dictate the weather. Be annoyed by all means, but don't take it out on the workers who are just trying to their jobs.
 
1) Morrissey's long-term musical director leaves band without a word said about it.
2) Bonfire shelved by Capitol records amidst Miley Cyrus debacle.
3) Newly recorded songs unreleased largely due to Morrisey's intransigence and declining reputation.
4) Morrissey loses the best band line up he's had in years. Again, without a word of explanation.
5) Amidst rumors of heavy drinking influencing his decision making, Morrissey is filmed drunk on an airplane.
Move along. There's nothing to see here. It's just our hero acting out as usual. Excuses, excuses.

The exchange might also have been part of previous conversation where they'd had time to politely become acquainted and express concerns. Doesn't seem like a busy flight. They could have parachuted in for a cup of tea, if we could have beamed them up again after when the all-clear was declared!

A friend of mine in Dublin told me the storm on Monday was really severe and sudden. She's been minding a dog for the week, a collie-poodle mix about the size of a sheep and almost as woolly-looking, and she said it was howling with fright, jumping up on her lap and throwing its legs around her. Perhaps that's all Morrissey wanted too : )
 
I guess Morrissey doesn’t have Guts or Strength because he was not gentle or Kind there. If you don’t like it don’t be a cheap ass and fly commercial you have money charter your own private plane.
