I am disappointed RFKJ suspended his campaign and endorsed Trump. I was hoping he'd stick it out to the end.. why do well preforming independent candidates seemingly drop out last minute? Ross Perot also dropped out before the election.
I can only hope that Trump keeps his promise of appointing RFKJ to a position and acts as his advisor, picking his cabinet for him, if he is elected. However, Trump is a liar and has no qualms about throwing people under the bus. He also has snubbed RFKJ before, in 2016 he was supposed to appoint him to a health safety commission, but he never did

I wonder if Morrissey would have endorsed RFKJ, considering RFK's animal rights and environmental activism, his campaigning on healthy food, etc... I'm surprised he didn't. Probably wants to keep his head down making controversial statements so his albums can get released?
He likely won't endorse Kamala/Walz and Trump because of their lack in the animal rights and environmentalism department. In some vegan circles, I'm seeing Tim Walz being called Slaughter House Tim for his support of factory farming

What is RFK Jr.'s track record on animal rights that would have gotten Morrissey to endorse him? Some of his biggest scandals involve dead animal lunacy: the whale's head, the dog/goat/lamb carcass, and the bear cub roadkill. Plus he enjoys eating meat. As far as I know he's only mentioned factory farming in terms of its effects on the environment. If he expects to end factory farming, the environmental effects would be just as bad, because they'd have to clear an impossible amount of land to free-range-farm the number of animals currently cramped in cages and pens. Biodiversity loss would be off the charts.
