I think Boz will come closest, Whyte in third place. How do you think Whyte will compare?

Although Alain has written some beauties, he had also written a large amount of plodding indie filler with Morrissey. Think of an underwhelming Morrissey song from 1995 to 2010 and it will usually be a Morrissey/Whyte composition along with a few from Jesse. How do you think Whyte will compare?
Hi, Disappointed score was 8.Mike, what's your score here?
"7. Disappointed - 8 - 10"
Also:
"23. Please Help The Cause Against Loneliness - ?
24. Safe, Warm Lancashire Home - ?
30. Treat Me Like A Human Being -?"
If you can't provide a score, I'll just add the average score at the end of voting
Sunday, Suedehead, Playboys. These three seem very popular.
- 9.55
- 9.48
- 9.43
- 9.30
- 9.10
Any top 3 predictions, as we enter the final 24 hours?

Don't know if you were around but we have done this kind of thing before, if not for a while. Previously, every song had its own thread and we'd discuss it for 3 or 4 days. From memory, the Street songs did indeed come out above the other post-Smiths collaborators (and Boorer was above Whyte).I've spent a little time combining/merging datasets in the background, & (although we are only part way through the 'co-write' journey) it has revealed just how strong these Street co-writes are, (cue caveat: based on the data received), compared with other co-write material.
For example, & without revealing individual tracks, the top ten, thus far, contains 8 Street tracks, with the other 2 by a.n. other.
If you're referring to the A-Z threads, yes I know of them & contributed, but they weren't scored, & therefore provided no statistical data.Don't know if you were around but we have done this kind of thing before, if not for a while. Worth noting that we've had all the Street songs now but there remains quite a lot of Boorer and Whyte stuff. Also, the highest scoring (last time) non-Street songs like Speedway, Now My Heart is Full and Trouble Loves Me have yet to be assessed, so the final top 10 won't be 80% Street.
Anyway, great that you're doing this again so thanks.
I've just Googled the previous poll and here it is https://www.morrissey-solo.com/threads/the-moz-smiths-top-100-final-results-2014.133795/If you're referring to the A-Z threads, yes I know of them & contributed, but they weren't scored, & therefore provided no statistical data.
Yep, you're correct, we have Boz part 2 (remaining c.26 tracks [M-Y]) to come, plus Whyte, & a few odds 'n' sods (Nevin, Cobrin, Day, Rourke, Farrell, Langer, Armstrong, et al) off the top of my head.
What I posted re; Street tracks was purely a data driven observation which (altho based on incomplete data) I thought ppl might find interesting.
Yes the final top-20 in 2014, with 50 plus votes for each song was:I've just Googled the previous poll and here it is https://www.morrissey-solo.com/threads/the-moz-smiths-top-100-final-results-2014.133795/
So every song did end up with a score, or did you mean something else?
It was last updated a long time ago, though, (pre Low in High School), and people's opinions change over time, so this is a good exercise in bringing some kind of assessment up to date.
Yep, no problem showing the results to date with incomplete data. Street is my favourite post-Smiths songwriter by miles, so always good to celebrate his contributions. The diversity of his arrangement and the quality of his melodies has never been matched in my opinion.
I was referring to the A-Z threads (courtesy of @BookishBoy) which I thought was pretty clear in my reply.I've just Googled the previous poll and here it is https://www.morrissey-solo.com/threads/the-moz-smiths-top-100-final-results-2014.133795/
