But Gordy people are worried, confused & angry. These are the only clues we have to his condition - apart from the ones in plain sight in practically every song he's ever sung.
Personally I think the flares are irrelevant. Only issue I ever had was them getting tangled up in my bicycle pedals/chainwheel, circa 1970.
Was it a Chopper?

As for the Zurich then, Morrissey has a place in Switzerland for a number of years now. I assume it is for tax purposes but no surprise that that is where he is right now.

And I'm gonna speculate that this time around it isn't depression. having seen the accumulation of stories over the past few years, speaking with that dreadful plane footage I believe that Morrissey has a serious issue with alcohol. In recent times he has cancelled fully sold out shows and half sold out shows, so ticket sales can't be blamed for all these cancellations because it logically doesn't make sense for this recent spate of no-shows. But high grade alcoholism would make sense. I know it's a guess but it makes sense and unfortunately I think he is surrounded by enablers rather than someone who will have the hard talk with him.

He needs rehab, he needs a new circle of friends and he needs to start living a healthier life. I hope he gets it but I fear he won't.
Alcoholism stops you having any perspective. You live for the moment. You can't see further than tomorrow. Most of us have mundane jobs and it won't affect many people other than ourselves.. I feel Morrissey spoke about my life for so long and now he might be actually living my life. My Doctor always said 'debility' is what I had when I needed to produce a sick mote.which is a cover all for alcoholism. I can understand why he might want to drink. It makes life more interesting, it creates mini crises. No one else is challenging you and so you challenge yourself to see if you can still function as a regular human being. Sometimes you can't.

Didn't Noel say Morrissey could drink him under the table?

As an adult Morrissey should follow through on his f***in commitments lol

I agree.

But when he doesn’t, and he doesn’t. WHAT DO YOU DO? What should be the choice of an adult Morrissey show attendee regarding purchasing tickets and flying half way around the world?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The fourth time maybe it will work :brows:

Yes, life’s filled with many chances, but we shouldn’t go in blind, imagining that we had no choice in the matter.

Have you seen Noel in the news this week?, not sure if its his divorce or staying in that hotel drinking and eating too much but he suddenly looks very bloated and not so chipper, shall we say.
Regarding Moz and his drinking, i wasn't really aware he had a problem at all until this last year or so. Alcohol destroys people, i hope they can both sort their shit out.

No offense, but you are fuc$ing idiot to fly half way around the world to see any performer without backup plans i.e. I am going to LA to visit my family and by the way I hope to catch the Morrissey concert which is icing on the cake.. The man is 65 years old and I don't think he is a big fan of air travel in the first place. Morrissey is a world treasure and quite possibly the greatest singer/songwriter to ever step foot on earth in his genre. He was on a massive roll. Dog was his best record in years and I think Jessie really came into his own on that record with some great guitar work. His next release was to be Bonfire which is said to be one of the best records of his career before Miley Cyrus hosed it and I am sure Without Music would have been a great follow up to Bonfire. Take care of yourself Morrissey we love you and care about you. The world is a much better place with you in it and as the great philosopher Ringo Starr says, Peace and Love everybody!

Camilla’s story. A cue to stop speculating ?

Wouldn't read that much or that positive into it. Because with all the hush hush and paranoia about Ms private life I somehow can't imagine that the members of the band are "in the know". They all are fairly new in Camp Morrissey if they are part of it at all (except Jesse). And I don't think she would post something on social media about it, if she knows, what's really going on. It also doesn't add up with her grumpy messages before this one. The message is also for too cryptic.

You really don't know that.

I see nothing in that interview suggesting it.

How did you reach your conclusion?

Let’s all watch that interview on YouTube and meet back here in an hour to discuss it: was Moz drunk or not?
