Your logic is really twisted.

The artist puts up a show and sells tickets.

The artist doesn't give a f**k and cancels the show giving a lame excuse (more than once).

The ticket holder is to be blamed for buying the ticket.

I’m not defending Morrissey here.

And I never blamed you for buying a ticket.

But I did, several times, try to make you understand that you made a decision to again buy a ticket after being canceled on before. So as an adult, you really should learn from your mistakes.

So who is to blame here?

Really, really strange way of seeing things.

But maybe yes, Morrissey is above good and evil and everyone else who follows him is an idiot. Except his apologists.

Morrissey is not responsible for your devotion.

He needs a break from touring and to focus on getting his two albums out and securing a commercial deal to release them.

Then he can crack on and secure some residences in major cities - Not major moves on a tour bus or planes but fixed 5-day residences over a few months.

I loved Blackpool 2022 my best ever experience of moz, and in a small intimate venue where it felt you were as close as possible to the man.

Buy a professional set of music managers and a PR agency, and he’ll be back on top in no time.

I hope that if the fans don't sue him, the producers will do. 400 f***ings gigs cancelled, its a fraud.

Moz is a psycho fraudster

Yeah, it’s gonna be cool!

He's losing his job the slow way as Morrissey's career tanks & he's very likely making future work harder to come by.

true. But it’s easier to hang on and milk it for all that it’s worth.

Then again, maybe I’m wrong. I’ve met Donnie before, seemed like a nice fellow, he could very well come on here and clear up some things.

Apparently Donnie has an account here - so why doesn't he explain - diplomatically - what the issue is?

Morrissey is not immortal - & having Morrissey's Tour Manager on your CV covering the years where he cancelled all the time & had his reputation completely annhiliated - isn't going to look good.

So, wheel out the mitagation.
My goodness, you are desperate to be noticed by Morrissey.

It is very similar to what he did in 1995. He left the Bowie tour . He was fed up with the tour , left the venue one hour before his gig saying he wanted to see his Mum and was rushed to a London hospital ( psychiatric ward apparently).
Those two empty-headed twats in the audience laughing behind his back at Jools (where he did Boy Racer & Sonny) didn't help. God but Moz looked so good back then - the suit, the hair, everything was so cool. Apart from those two tittering twits and the car crash Jools interview. Our Moz hasn't been the same since.

Noted also by Metro UK, American Songwriter etc

A respectful article about the cancellations with some prior context given by Michael Imperioli, from The Independent UK

Back in August, Michael Imperioli, star of The Sopranos, claimed that Morrissey had been “abandoned” by the music industry, comparing him to late Irish musician Sinead O’Connor.

Imperioli, who is also the guitarist and vocalist for the band Zopa, told The Guardian: “He’s uncompromising and very true to his art, to himself. As a lyricist, he’s on the level of Bob Dylan and Lou Reed to me: his intelligence, his wit and point of view.
“I thought what he wrote about Sinead O’Connor was spot on and brilliant – how easily she was abandoned by the music industry. He was as well,” Imperioli added.

the worst interview i have ever seen was jools holland interviewing bryan ferry on a beach overlooking the isle of dogs, car crash tv.

The band will be fine - all of them are session musicians with tonnes of contacts. They freelance for a living, all are in high demand, and getting new gigs will not be a problem. It's only Jesse who is probably wondering what to do now.

The 2004 one was far worse - he was very rude to Jools, someone who has supported him since 1992 and welcomed him back regularly. He ducked out of another Jonathan Ross show a while after his awkward comeback appearance. It seems as if he's not in the right 'headspace', everything can be jettisoned without consequence. To welch on so many commitments in the last while is very concerning. I think he's ill. Vicar St was a great ending though, an excellent gig.

The girls were nervous und blushed. They were on the telly. Blame it on their youth. I don't think, it was about handsome #Mozzer95.

Get well soon, Mr Moz. Saw him on stage this past year for the first time in a long time and it made me fall in love with live music all over again. I understand the disappointment if concerts are cancelled, but I think we need to keep perspective. We're lucky that he's still performing at all!
