A link to what it basically is (vinyl) (just in case)

So i don't seem to find any online track of this version. Ebay's post description: "This is the ULTRA RARE first Press that was quickly withdrawn as the title track although on label is listed at 3:34 it actually plays an added verse before the fade so plays at 3.51 a rare item that any collector is always looking out for and thus is the one that will always want in their collection vinyl is in near mint condition the sleeve has a yellow strip sticker to top left hand side as shown but the sleeve in great shape other than that addition".
So basically, Moz sings "I was happy for a while etc" in the end.

I would love if someone here could please drop the track, would be really thankful :innocent:

Note: I've searched in the Smiths - Archive drive page and many others archive pages with no result, best thing i could find were the earsay mix (in really low quality) of the song and the extended mix.

Shared by Stephane in 2008 and was in the drive collection up until a few years back..
The quality is what it is for an old vinyl rip.

Hello, i've checked, it's the extended mix i've already mentioned in my post, not the one with "I was happy for a while etc" sang by Morrissey at the end.
This is something i recently found out about in The Smiths Discord server with some dude who has the vinyl (but can't rip the song sadly).
It's a mispress, so it has been hardly ripped officially for bootlegs / rare copilations.

Also, on another thing, i went into the 2nd link you sent and all of the conversations there have their download links down (sadly, again).

The links were for info - there's little chance of any download links working after 16 years.
Was on crossed purposes with other version - both have the same running time give or take turntable issues, but content is different - are you sure?
Your quest continues...
FWD.

I'll try to get the guy to record the vinly track... even if it's in low quality.
This rare piece has to be published.
Many thanks for anwering my question, really appreciate it.

I'd get a sample to check.
I'd like to see what "I was happy for a while etc" is in full as some assert it's just an extra repeated verse.
I'd possibly go digging through my storage looking for it if certain.
Regards,
FWD.

Nevermind, the guy "lost" (following his words) the track and he said it was most likely the (extended mix FWD sent me).
No idea where the "I was happy for a while etc" came from but it doesn't seem to exist.
If anything happens, i'll drop an update here.

Had a feeling, hence asking about odd verse.
Here's a FLAC of the extended version.
