The poll in Q magazine has The Smiths album, crediting Morrissey as designer, as number 50.

The number 1 slot went to The Sex Pistol's God Save The Queen.

The World Won't Listen sleeve features a photograph from the book "Rock and Roll Times" by Jurgen Vollmer. His collection of pictures were taken in Hamburg and Paris between 1961 and 1964. Vollmer had also taken early pictures of The Beatles.

Joy Division's Closer was voted number 2 in the poll while Nirvana's Nevermind came out at number 3.
