Morrissey wore a black and yellow Public Enemy t-shirt for the show and then a Beethoven Was Deaf shirt with "Flint" written on it for the encore.
He started the concert by stating:

Tonight's concert had the return of Juan Galeano Toro in place of Solomon Walker.
During the pause in Speedway, Morrissey sang the opening line of "Saginaw, Michigan" by Lefty Frizzell:
