Born on 26 April 1941 in Macon Georgia, she was a Philadelphia area R&B artist from the early 1960's, best known for the hit single, "Party Lights," which reached #5 in 1962. When she failed to produce a successful follow-up, she went on to record under the name Joy Dawn, with limited success.
