Haven't we have all moved on? What is the use of The Smiths getting back together? Morrissey has never sounded so good. I for one prefer him solo.

I think the simple fact that New Kids on the Block and New Edition both ranked higher than The Smiths and The Pixies says a lot about the typical MTV viewer.

The only other bands worth while there are The Clash and The Pixies. Seems to me that them and The Smiths should round out the top 3; but that's in a perfect world.

What the Hell? I'm so pissed off now! As I said before MTV has no right to reunite The Smiths! How can they do this to my life? MTV sucks it! Look if The Smiths want to reunite let them do it on their own or not at all. If for one don't want any of my favourite groups/bands to reunite on MTV! Geez if MTV does reunite The Smiths I will personally go to New York City and hold a protest in front of MTV studios!The thing that gets me is why do they want to do this in the first place? Maybe they want the want the Boy Band ppl exposed to COOL music or just to piss me off! Well either way it isn't going to happen ( Morrissey doesn't seem up to it)! The Replacements would be a great reunion. Another Minneapolis band called the Suburbs would be nice too.

yes, the Suburbs reunited back in 1993...which was a dream come true for me. They played 4 sold out shows in a row at First Avenue...and I kissed a girl.
