Johnny Marr joined the Cribs onstage last night in glasgow (Feb. 1).

he played with them for two songs , the first a cover of Panic and the second i'm a realist (joined also by video by lee rando from sonic youth)

It was part of the NME (so boycotted by Me)

There you can fill in a form to win concert tickets, but it doesn´t say when or where these concerts will take place.
Does that mean we can expect a European tour soon, or is it just a hoax to get access to e-mail addresses & phone numbers (you are required to leave your e-mail address AND your mobile phone number) of Morrissey fans?
The site looks good, there is all the new relevant information about Morrissey, but not too trustworthy: they also claim that there´s an exclusive booklet in the Deluxe Edition, which isn´t true.

Another slip of paper in the cd says you can buy a "very special Morrissey release" exclusively online, the address is:

1) the NME's review of "Greatest Hits" (6 out of 10) is online and it's not a particularly good one.

But Morrissey's "Thats how people grow up" has hit 14 in the UK charts, is also their music of the week...

On tonight's (2/11) episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles on FOX, there was a character introduced named "Morris" who was wearing a T-shirt with the Meat is Murder cover on it. It was only for a few seconds but I think the reference to Morrissey was intentional. Thanks!

The Sons & Heirs have a great show planned for Saturday 2/16/08 at the Canal Room in New York City. We haven't played in the city since our BB King's afterparty following Moz's shows at Hammerstein last October, so we're very excited to be back.

But the big news for this show is that we'll be joined by Spencer Cobrin, who needs no introduction in this forum. He'll be spinning some great stuff (including some choice northern soul) to get the evening started.
