"People Of The Mud" was used as a 2022 backdrop image (During My Hurling Days Are Done).

Luis says of the image:

"...When I was invited to Ireland to work on a photo series on Irish cultural heritage and was shit scared that l'd be clueless as to what to photograph - she was my Library. Grace opened the door to her family for me where then met her incredible brother Seamus who's now my friend and one of the players on the Hurling team. He was my compass throughout my experience there. I'd be lost in a foreign land if it weren't for them. This is Paddy, Cormac, Ronan and Conor in People of the Mud."

For the full set of images - see his website. A brief biography, as there's no Wiki:

"Dominican-American Luis Alberto Rodriguez trained as a dancer LaGuardia High School before receiving a BFA from The Juilliard School and performing worldwide for fifteen years before turning to photography. Now, he continues to study the human form's movement, often using his subject's body sculpturally and abstractly. In 2017, Rodriguez won both the Prix de Public and the American Vintage prize at the 32nd Hyeres Festival of Fashion and Photography. In the Spring of 2018, Rodriguez was named one of Red Hook Labs New Artists. In 2020, Rodriguez published People of the Mud following a residency in Wexford, Ireland, reflecting on how cultures shape and are shaped by individuals. Rodriguez lives in Berlin."
