Biography
Janice Long is an English TV/radio presenter, who has mainly worked for the BBC.
In the early 1980's she presented a youth programme 'Street Life' on BBC Radio Merseyside, broadcast from Liverpool to the surrounding area. Shaun Duggan was also a presenter.
From 1982 she worked at BBC Radio 1, and hosted Top Of The Pops, including it's final weekly episode in 2006. Since 1999 she has worked at BBC Radio 2.
Her brother is TV presenter Keith Chegwin. She is a judge for the Mercury Music Prize, and is married with two children.
Morrissey reportedly refers to her as "Auntie Pong".

2011 Session
On 9 June, 2011, Janice Long announced on her show that she would be recording new music with Morrissey on Friday, 10 June, 2011.[1] These sessions took place at the Maida Vale Studios, London.
On 10 June, 2011 it was announced that Morrissey would be appearing on the BBC Radio 2 show of Janice Long.[2] It was also stated that three new songs would be premiered: Action Is My Middle Name, The Kid's A Looker and People Are The Same Everywhere.
On 15 June, 2011, Morrissey appeared on the BBC Radio 2 show of Janice Long. The previously mentioned songs were played.
