Unwoman is the project of San Francisco-based cellist, singer and producer Erica Mulkey. Taking the name from Margaret Atwood's dystopian novel The Handmaid's Tale, Mulkey's music as Unwoman runs the gamut from experimental to goth, and from ethereal to industrial.
