American singer, guitarist and songwriter, born November 9, 1923, Daytona Beach, Florida - died December 23, 1992, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. After serving in the military during World War II, he setted in Montgomery, Alabama and decided to found a band with guitarist jim bobo. He is best-remembered for his single 'Jungle Rock', which was obscure upon its original release but became a #3 UK hit single in the 1970s.
