from where i sat (row A of the lower balcony) the sound was pretty awful. whoever was at the mixing board needed a little talking to.
the drums were buried in the mix and the guitars were way too trebly and i could do without "ouija board" and "meat is murder".
despite all that- the show was still great. morrissey seemed so much more at ease than he did at central park 2 years ago. strangely enough- when i discovered the smiths in 1985- it was because of a review of their show at the beacon theater on the meat is murder tour.

by the way- salford lads are playing a smiths/ morrissey night at don hill's on march 24th.
