Raleigh

I must say that after 9 shows now, Atlanta was my favorite! Of course it was the first time I got to hug Moz on stage (and managed to rip one of the set lists as well for quite a souvenier)!

The security at the Atlanta show was SO undermanned that I was quite happy to see that no mob rushed the stage at any point as it would have been quite easy. The Raleigh show, on the other hand, was over-staffed with security smile and made getting on stage near impossible.

In fact, no one even tried until I went right after he began "Shoplifers"... I technically made it on the tiny stage at The Ritz before three big ox (security) began pulling me to the floor. I was reaching my arm out yelling "Morrissey" at the top of my lungs hoping he would help me. I'm not sure if he saw me, but I remember grabbing onto his pants (I couldn't see what I was reaching for as one of the ox had my head bent in an unnatural way).

All of the sudden he stops singing and tells the security guards (can't remember the words he used exactly) to "...please let's not kill anyone here tonight..." and maybe said some more. I was able to look back and see some girls shaking hands with him and being helped on-stage, as you could tell he wanted some of us to come up (dammit, why not me!). He then began to sing again until finally some a$$hole decided to all but tackle Moz instead of using his brain. At this point Moz left the stage. Why can't some people actually use their brains? It's like the same a$$holes who try and pull Moz into the crowd when he reaches out to touch them rather than just grab his hand and lightly let go as he pulls away??!?

Is it against the law if we kill security? Or bad Moz fans? smile
