I've love to hear the conversations he was having. How different he seemed to his later reclusive self.
Interesting how he always positioned his head down a bit for pictures.

‘I was the person who invited (Steven) Morrissey to the party which was at my best friends house in Gorse Hill, Streford. It was a glam themed party which is even more evident in a number of other photos taken on the same night. There were other photos taken also featuring Morrissey which I am at present trying to obtain from an old friend who co-hosted the party. When I do get them I won't bother posting them on here given the majority of idiotic responses I've seen but am seriously considering submitting an article to Record Collector regarding my friendship with Morrissey and my later association with a pre Stiff Kittens, Warsaw and Joy Division Ian Curtis.’

Photo with him in gray jacket and pink tie, closer to New Romantic, though Johansen was dressing a little smarter by the mid-late 70’s also Bryan Ferry with his debonair look.

The other photo with him in suspenders and large bracelets reminds me a little of Bowie ‘75
around the Young Americans period. Seems to be really just throwing things together for the party.

It's probably a foot-long menthol cigarette, the kind I once choked upon in a desperate attempt to appear chic and sophisticated despite my entire life being worth 23p plus vat.

hard to tell by the photo, and I’m not familiar with the brands or design of British cigarettes from the late ‘70’s, but is he using a cigarette holder?
