Morrissey Central "Little Man, What Now?" (October 22, 2024)

Having sung the verse
"from Friday nights 1969
ATV - you murdered every line" many times. It was nice to finally see the broadcast logo. A nice visual for the context of the song.

Meanwhile Johnny Marr (The clever one :guitar:)
Has just finished a very successful shared twenty one date tour of America/Canada with James. #realmusicians
Dorrissey on the other hand now enjoys spending time with his gofer Damien watching and posting hardcore fan amateur video mash ups of his yesteryears pop songs via his tin pot site Central.

Johnny is back now Steve. Time to man up and make a public apology for all the shit you hurled in public at him. All because you’re a thick twat who doesn’t understand anything about the business side of being a famous artist/name.

Thick as pig shit :mock:

For all his mistakes, Morrissey remains a multi millionaire, so I don't think "doesn't understand anything about the business side" is quite true.

I do enjoy your posts though in strange way, even if they are basically a load of shite.

"Little Man, What Now?" - Certainly not a release date for either of two finished lps rotting away on some dusty shelf.

Money doesn't fill the void in a histrionic narcissists soul. Only the oxygen of fame, attention and publicity will do that. Since Morrissey can't get enough of it through his music or performances anymore, he has to resort to hijacking other people's and starting childish drama (see dropping his Smiths-related screeds and whining about being cancelled within days of Oasis confirming their comeback)

he's probably gonna smash a few 150 dollar dinner plates when he sees JM having a blast up on stage with Noel and Liam in front of hundreds of thousands of people next year.

"All I wanted in life was to be famous, I have tried for so long, its all gone wrong..."

They could never make this video
about Ron Howard.
Think about it folks.
The guy went from Opie to Richie
to bein' considered a highfalutin'
movie director.
Ron's had his hand it the candy for
some time now.
Little Man, Now Big would be more
like it.

I quite enjoy these fan videos. They make me want to edit my own :)

I think we’re all frustrated by the lack of real news on Central, but I doubt things would be any different if Moz wasn’t reposting these fan creations. If you don’t like them, don’t look at them….there must be something else that can take your gaze aways ;)

No disrespect to Smiler, but is Moz really watching these? He posts so quickly, like he's just YouTubing his name and sharing whatever comes up. If Smiler created a video where the first and last 30 seconds were film clips but the middle 2 minutes were taken straight from the Moz/Johnny mash-up thread, would Moz even notice? And can we test out this theory as soon as possible please?

i watched an episode of happy days last week, probably the most controversial, the fonz goes to the deep south and him and black friend go in for a coffee but they wouldnt serve them, all american series seem to have a message whereas britain doesnt really do that.
