Yes deffo.
This one is quite shockingly violent. Not one to show the kids (if that's still a thing?). I thought it was an excellent film though not one I was in a rush to see again because of... well what it was.
Seeing the movie expertly condensed into this slick music video really turbo charges the impact. Perhaps no more shocking than the backdrops M puts up in concerts for MIM or Ganglord I guess.
I do hope it's swapped out for Smiler's latest gem soon.

If it's Rayner, then it's disappointing that it probably wasn't Morrissey who liked several of smiler's very nice classic-cinema offerings recently.

If it's Morrissey, then it's disappointing that he liked this particular piece of garbage. I guess a halfway decent scenario would be that he liked this one because it has his fellow PETA comrade Joaquin Phoenix in it (assuming this is footage from the Phoenix Joker). Kind of implausible though. A heartening Morrissey Central post would be something like "Morrissey and Joaquin Phoenix spotted having tea at a vegan café in Los Angeles" with a picture of the two eccentrics. I'm sorry, but for me, this one absolutely shits on a perfect song.

Why? Just why? I refuse to watch one of my favorite Moz songs set to scenes from a major motion picture, as much as I did enjoy the Joker.

Two in one day, what a... treat? I remember Morrissey saying he enjoyed Fritt Vilt (Cold Prey). There's three of them, first two parts are very good slashers, second one follows straight on and is set in a hospital (just like Halloween). The third is a prequel, not so good. Not sure what song it could be paired with for Halloween.
