He really, really would be pretty unwell if he did that.Johnny's looking well. Hopefully this doesn't trigger Morrissey into having another online meltdown.
No, your initial take is correctMainly due to the fact that "Take Me Out" made me want to commit a murder, I've never really given much time to Franz Ferdinand. Anything worth investigating?
There were so many bands exploding in the early 00s with a "Smiths influence" that I sought them out, listened a bit and thought - right, why do I need this when I could be listening to the real thing? Razorlight is another one I remember. Pan-ic in Ameri-ca....No, your initial take is correct

Noooo!! That would be awful. Many may disagree but personally I don't think the Smiths music is suited for stadiums. Leave all that to Coldplay, Swift etcIf Morrissey, Marr and Joyce (plus a bassist TBA) reunited as the Smiths, what size venues would they play? Could they sell out ten nights at Wembley stadium, a la Oasis?
Er no, they never played any massive gigs back in the day wheras Oasis did. They could maybe do an arena tour with 2 dates in the smaller cities along with 3 in London/Manchester.If Morrissey, Marr and Joyce (plus a bassist TBA) reunited as the Smiths, what size venues would they play? Morrissey must have been a fan, as he put a song called 'Jacqueline' onto a compilation CD:Mainly due to the fact that "Take Me Out" made me want to commit a murder, I've never really given much time to Franz Ferdinand. Anything worth investigating?
Johnny Marr is turning into David Grohl. His willingness to go on stage with anyone and everyone is embarrassing. And also very boring.
Oasis never did anything like the number of stadium shows back in the day that they're doing today. Probably played to a quarter (max) of the crowd that are going this summer.Er no, they never played any massive gigs back in the day wheras Oasis did. Yes, he was a fan. They had a joint NME cover and interview back in 2004. I think (not 100% certain) he invited them along to his Meltdown mini-festival.Morrissey must have been a fan, as he put a song called 'Jacqueline' onto a compilation CD:

When they played here, they played an amphitheatre with a 13,ooo capacity which has now been expanded to 20,000. Morrissey played it alone as well when it was 13,o00. I could see them doing that.Er no, they never played any massive gigs back in the day wheras Oasis did. All legendary/iconic bands from the 80's/90's are playing much bigger shows in the 2020's.
My hunch is that The Smiths would probably now have a Blur sized audience in the UK at least i.e. they could probably sell a good chunk of Wembley Stadium on two consecutive nights if the only UK dates.

There was also an interview with Moz and Franz together in the NME in 2004, they were both on the cover.Morrissey must have been a fan, as he put a song called 'Jacqueline' onto a compilation CD:
