Anyone else confused by the Madonna imagery?

I have absolutely no idea why he would wear this shirt though. Apart from the fact that it's iconic and androgynous. And the photographer connection of course.

But combined with the Frozen video, it's very odd to me (given his previous Madonna comments)

In one of the photos of the shirt it looked like they had swapped out the head, but I can see from other photos that's not the case.

Maybe I'm just missing some irony or other reason.

I'm wondering if it could be something along the lines of 'look, I said some really shady things about Madonna in the past, but isn't she such an iconic, strong and innovative female - we should celebrate her!'

Is Morrissey demonstrating to his detractors that if they were to cast their views and prejudices aside, they might find something to love, praise and treasure?

From 1991 to 2024.

1991 has to be in top 5 finishes, blessed to have been there , I was not dancing on stage, but the way the band kept playing instruments after Moz left stage , people dancing and kicking flowers everywhere is classic stuff, never to forget that, and if i do, just watch the video

He probably changed his mind about Madonna, the same way he changed his mind about the Ramones and Prince.

I'm in the minority here, but I can't stand Madonna
